Our Design Process

With any major construction project, the devil is in the details. So, we first like to meet with you to review your desires and gather information about your ideal paradise. Our highly trained team will take notes that we have gathered from you, and craft a custom design by utilizing top-of-the-line technology and rendering software. 


Once this has been completed, we present you with the proposed blueprint of your custom design, including the cost for you to review, approve or make adjustments to. This design is presented to you in 3D format so you can see your custom design before it’s ever built. Giving you full control over your design, and execution.

Initial Visit

At Paradise Patios, our experts will review your project and gather additional information regarding your home project. We strive to provide you with an outdoor living space that meets your needs, expectations and budget. 

What can I expect during this visit?

  • First, our project manager will gather vital information regarding your desired project. 
  • Secondly, we want to see where your design is headed, providing us images of what you are looking to accomplish will help us determine your future project. 
  • Third, we will take images of the ‘project area’ along with measurements of needed utility locations. 
  • Fourth, If required, our team member will access your attic for a thorough inspection. 
  • Lastly, we will begin to work on your project quote!

Design, Pricing, and Final Proposal

Once we have gathered all the necessary information above about your project, we will provide you with an estimated cost of your desired future paradise. 

For us to generate the most accurate information and pricing quote, it may take us a few days. However, you can expect to see the exact cost, and details of your project. At our follow-up meeting with you, we will review the proposal and answer any questions that you may have.

Now that you have signed with us, let’s get started!

Once you have signed your contract with Paradise Patios, we will get your project on our schedule, and work with you on all of the fine details! Such as material, appliance selections, stonework, and more. Once these fine details have been established, our expert team of craftsmen will begin to order your materials and prepare for creation! 

Through the construction process, your assigned project manager will communicate with you every step of the way, and will be available by email or phone. Upon the completion of your paradise project, we will walk through the finished space with you to ensure you are completely satisfied with the completed design. 

Approvals and Permits

At Paradise Patios, we are highly trained and knowledgeable in the aspect of HOA approvals and city permits. Should your project require such permits, there will be a few things we may need from you. 

Should your project require a city permit, you will need to provide us with a copy of your lot survey. We will also provide you with all of the additional required information needed to move forward in this process. Walking you through every step of the way! 

If you live in a municipality that would require a building permit, Paradise Patios will handle all submission, inspection and approval that is required. 

* Please note that depending on the location of your project, this process can take up to six weeks.
